Performance/Protest Art

Firstsite & The Miniories Galleries, Colchester 7th August 2019

Once upon a time, about a year ago in a not so far away land called Colchester a protest art performance unfurled.

'If the Shoe Fits'

It was the night of the private view at The Minories Galleries for the 'Beyond Plastics' exhibition by @in_the_studio_with_michele . (Where I was a guest Artist).

The Performance Art related to climate change. One shoe was left on The Minories steps and the other outside Firstsite. The Minories placed theirs on a plinth for public display the next day.

The other shoe has never been located! Cinderhannah is now exhibiting at Firstsite a year on but the mystery of the missing shoe is yet to be solved...

Can you help solve the mystery?

‘Food is Fuel’

British response to Art of Basel, Miami.

Conceptual Art

Not all of Hannah’s work is deeply entrenched in serious themes of social justice. Her cheeky humour is frequently present in response to current affairs. The Art of Basel banana drama, took the world by storm and Hannah responded in good form, with dry British humour.
